THE GAME

Hear what
you can’t see.

A top-down tactical shooter where sound, darkness and information change the fight.

Every shot tells a story.

Listen for gunfire through rooms and corridors. Watch the light at a doorway. Turn off a lamp to reduce exposure, or switch on your flashlight to see further while revealing your position. DEADSECTOR combines a top-down battlefield with 3D lighting, spatial sound and procedural industrial districts.

From warmup to squad combat.

Choose a game mode and press Find match. If you are alone, play against bots while another player connects. When two players are ready, a three-second countdown starts the match. Relay Control and Team Deathmatch use six players per team; Capture the Flag and Round Elimination use five. Bots fill empty positions.

Relay Control, Capture the Flag, Round Elimination and Team Deathmatch offer different objectives. Training remains available for learning weapons and controls.

Open your browser. Enter the district.

The game is free to play and needs no installation or account. A modern WebGL2-capable browser and headphones are recommended. Keyboard and mouse, touch controls and compatible gamepads are supported; performance varies by device.

An evolving beta.

DEADSECTOR is in active development. Online matches use direct WebRTC connections and a player hosts the simulation. Some networks cannot establish a direct connection. Accounts, ranked matchmaking and ELO are planned, but are not available today.

Built for the browser.

Three.js brings the district to life with 3D rendering. The Web Audio API powers spatial sound, while WebRTC carries direct connections between players.

Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects support matchmaking and connection signaling. Thank you to the open-source contributors and browser engineers who make this possible.
